Andrea Gavriliu has a complex personality. Andrea is impossible to define. Is she an acrtress? Is she a choreographer? Is she a ZIC ZAC director? And in fact, what is ZIC ZAC ?

“„Zic Zac” is an hour-long dance-theater play that offers tireless laughter and soulful tears. It is a show that is played at the Godot Cafe Theater in Bucharest, as well as CNDB, the Panciu House of Culture, the „Eurothalia” International Festival in Timișoara. Anyone can see themselves in it. If you didn’t get the Schopenhauer joke, you’ll definitely get the one with the Penguin Dance. If you’ve never heard Gabriel Fauré’s tune, „Pie Jesu”, you definitely know the „Dumbala Dumba” of Tarafului Haiducilor.”
And what people feel while watching ZIC ZAC is that it is after all an hour-long dance-theater play. In Academia Catavencu, Andrea answers with the following:
“I shall give a few examples of feedbacks that I received after the show, feedbacks that say it all: „I came to the show in a pretty bad mood, and I left full of energy and good humor!”, „After this show, all I wanna do is go home and have sex with my wife!”, the reaction of a child in the audience during the impossible kiss: „Can’t you see it can’t be?!”, „It is the first time I understood something of a dance-theater show”, „Could you please sent me the soundtrack?”… And the list goes on…”
