Andreea Moldovan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, is sharing to TEDxBrasov how a dream, no matter what, can turn into reality. Initial dream “The cleanest hospital in Europe could be in Brasov” is now a reality.
A specialist in infectious diseases in Switzerland, Dr. Andreea Moldovan was born Târgu-Mureș, where she graduated from the Medical Highschool, Department of Dental Technology and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Dr. Moldovan has had an honorary scholarship at “Hôpital Cantonal de Genève”, having become a doctor in Medical Sciences in December of 2008, and has been working at the “St. Constantin” hospital in Braşov, an elite medical facility, functioning under the slogan “Excellence in Health”. Dr. Andreea Moldovan was the main participant in the establishment receiving the “Hospital Hygiene Excellence Award”, offered by the World Health Organization in 2013. Of the 50 hospitals that were entered in the competition, the four finalists were chosen from Romania, Germany, Luxembourg and Ireland, and the decision was made by a jury of eight major European medical personalities.
