Christian Macedonschi was born in Braşov and followed in the family tradition, by attending the German kindergarten, primary and middle school, and ultimately the Andrei Şaguna high school. After the 1989 revolution, he went to Germany to perfect his training, and continued his education at the Faculty of Economic Studies at the ”Friedrich Alexander Universität” in Nürnberg and obtained a bachelor’s degree in economy at the University of Transylvania. He is an esteemed entrepreneur, having created workplaces in both Romania and Germany. As president of the Association for the Promotion and Development of Tourism in Brașov County, he participated in numerous international tourism events (Berlin, Nuremberg, and London) where he promoted the city of Brasov and the brand “Braşov. Be. Live it”. He also coordinated, along with the German Economic Club and the County Council, the conclusion of partnership between Nuremberg and Braşov.
